This summer Oregon Food Bank is hiring a position to lead their seasonal Free Food Market programming. The position is the Free Food Market Summer Associate and the full job description and application can be found here.

• Position overview: coordinate the logistics and operations of three weekly Summer Free Food Markets in partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation Summer Meals programs. Free Food Market is a free, shopping-style food distribution program of Oregon Food Bank that aims to distribute fresh produce and pantry staples to low-income individuals and families. The Free Food Market Summer Associate will promote the markets, lead the onsite distribution of food, and train and manage volunteers onsite.

• Hybrid position: 70% in person at food distribution sites, 30% computer work

• Position runs from June 10-August 23rd, average of 26 hours per week

• Pay rate is $23.84-$25.54 depending on experience and language skills

• Seeking those with multilingual skills: Spanish, Russian, Ukranian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Arabic

• Application deadline is April 30th
